DSTV and lawyers threatening for up to date account

I have been a dstc subscriber for years. Recently I downgraded and eventually cancelled my subscription. Then I resubscribe for the easy view and I use the dstv app to check balances and my account was in credit. I had the shock of my life when I started getting emails and calls from a law firm saying I owe multichoice and threatening me. As I stand, my account is up to date and my services are active. Please can you update your records as I do not owe and never have
