DSTV allows for ONLY PAY-A-YOU-GO customers to rent movies. If you on a standard contract phone this services does not work for you!!
<p>Why does DSTV Box office only allow for pay-as-you-go customers to rent movies??? My Wife and I both have contract phones and have been on contract phones for many years. I have to call into the customer call center every time to ask a DSTV Agent to rent a move for me, then there is the tedious laborious process of having to pay via credit card.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is really third world country mentality!</p> <p> </p> <p>Its not my fault that DSTV do not make as much money from contract phones than pay-as-you-go.</p>

We confirm that BoxOffice does cater for both customers using pay as you go and the ones on contract phones and.
Currently, we cannot confirm the reason you're unable to rent using your contract phone. Hence we suggest other methods such as credit card or through our call centre which can be used to rent.
Alternatively, you may need to get a pre-paid phone that can be used for BoxOffice purposes.
