DSTV Absolute Nightmare - Stay away.
DSTV Internet. What a fiasco. They promise you you get a router that works out of the box. What a lie... Got our router on Friday. It is now Monday evening escalated problem twice and they still have not activated the product. Time spent on phone calls and chats... 120 min + Go Vodacom, DSTV might be cheaper but you get NOTHING for your money. Absolute nightmare.

14 Feb 2025, 11:20Update on this issue... Eventually after 5 days, they connected our internet. People, stay away. Could not speak to ANYONE in a supervisory or managerial capacity and their technical guys do not speak to clients. There were actually no technical issues... all they had to do was link our simcard with our account... ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING...

20 Feb 2025, 12:02Update #2.... After our internet worked for 2 days, they started locking our sim because the router was apparently not in the registered address area... which was nonsense... After 2 failed attempts to update our registered address, which we app**** with...we finally on call 3 got a callcentre person who sort of knew what he was doing only to hear that they registered our sim under a completely other address (we have no idea where they got this address from) in another town. Took another day and finally the locking of the sim stopped.... STAY AWAY PEOPLE... 7 DAYS OF HEL!
