Dstv
My ongoing saga with this clearly beaurocratic monolithic organisation. I subscribe and pay for Dstv premium streaming 7 July. 2 days later I get shut down and asked to pay. After hours on a phone mailing the proof of payment I get reconnected but too late to watch my rugby game. No apology of course.
I watch various programmes for the week and on Saturday just before my rugby game I log in to get the same no service message. Once again an hour long call, mail the proof of payment miss my game of rugby and get reconnected.
This time I post a message to the above effect on Hellopeter. I get a very rapid response, my guess an automated one that they are investigating.
No response to date, no apology, clear indifference to customers problems.
Guess what, once again, 3rd time, but this time preceeded by an sms, my service is cut and a demand for payment.
A third round of calls. This time we demanded they look on the system for the proof of payment and SURPRISE SURPRISE. it's on the system.
My guess, no apology, more indifference. The good old finger to your customer.

In the interim I have once again had my service terminated and gone through to tired and infuriating call center process, get asked the same questions, email the same proof of payment, get escalated to a manager etc etc.
4 times now I have done this. They say the definition of madness is doing the same thing and again expecting a different result. Go figure.
