Double Debit From Multichoice

After I have opted to get myself DSTV again 2 and a half years after the previous subscription the problems with Multichoice incorrect debit orders and bad service has not change for the better of their customers.

I am extremely dissapointed once again after I opted for the premium price lock with an extra dual view explora 2 (2 decoders one plan) After the sales call on the 13th of December the two decoders were delivered on the 14th which was impressive, but unfortenutly this is where it ended. Seems like once the decoders are delivered the money is in the bank for multi choice and no further service is required. At the time of the sales call the lady advised one of their approved installers will contact me to commit to a date for the installation, still waiting for the call... on the 15th I called Multichoice to find out whats happening and the call centre gave me 2 accredited installers where one had no answer and the other does not work on a Saturday. I also enquired about when the debit order will go off and the amount to ensure all was in order and I was advised it will be on the 26th of every month. The debit order amount the agent provided was double the amount and I enquired the reason thereof which they advised the usual BS was a system problem and escelated the matter, still awaiting feedback.

I went on the DSTV website to find other installers and had success with one which was extremely helpfull and installed everything very profesionally and satisfactory, upon the activation call from the installer to multichoice the installer double checked fhe amount to pay again where it was still loaded as double subscription and advised the willl escelate whic again clearly was not resolved.

On the 27th of December 2017 debit order for R3191.00 went off which forced me to call in to the call centre spending almost 38 minutes on the phone with Donollo at my own cost! Agent tells me to hold on and after 5 minuted again usual bs it is a system problem, wonder who loads these debits in to the system. Anyway she advises that she will escelate and process which takes 3 to 7 days. I advised that this is not my mistake made and should not be forced to wait 3 to 7 days without even an apology. I advised I will then get the bank to reverse it completely and then multi choice send me a new invoice for the correct amount whic I am advised will effect my account negatively. After I found it unacceptable and demanded to speak to a manager, placed on hold for another 4 to 5 minutes the team leader acknowledges the problem on their end and very apologetic, advises the accounts department is on the same floor as hers and will speak to them to try and resolve and call me back before 11am same 28 December 2017

To be honest I hope competition ups their game and hit it out of the park with their after market service and product soon, as it is just unacceptable service and am sure I am not the only customer to have had this bad service, worst part is after the previous bad service and debit order problem 2 and a half years ago, nothing has changed and same problem and bad experience and frustration all over again which forced me calling a whole day.

Waiting for the team leader Mirrian to call back with feedback to see what their solution would be. Extremely dissapointed at the level of service from the start, aftermarket service very poor and inadequate knowledge of staff.

If this is not resolved by the end of week I will follow a legal route and all the DSTV installtions equipment can be removed from my premises and a bill will be sent to multichoice for all the costs.

Good day Rupert Thank you for your response, your agents advised that they would return my call and to date no one has called as promised. The billing went off double and still no one can advise when this will be paid back. This is theft as you are not meeting your contract obligation. Please advuse that amount and date when this will be paid today, I will be handing this over to my attorney as calling your call centre numerous times does not give me answers. Regards
