Don't try to switch to DSTV Stream only if you have a decoder. The website is pathetic. They boast about "online chat in the bottom left corner". Good luck trying to find it. I then tried to buy a stream-only contract for R299, but it won't let me, because I have a decoder. It insists I should pay R399. I got the same reaction when I phoned their helpdesk. "If I do it for you, it will cost R399, Do it yourself on the app". No matter how many times I tell her that the website and the app both refuse to let me. No wonder so many DSTV subscribers leave in frustration. Why advertise something for R299 but insist you have to pay R399?
