Don't have the first clue about customer service

I switched off DSTV while away from home for 3 weeks from +-21 Feb to 11 Mar, online. Upon my return I reactivated it online. A couple of days later my service was swithed off. Spoke to Refilwe (very pleasant)who could not explain why the normal debit order was not processed on 28th of month. Made me pay approx R400 before she would re-activate service. Reconnected after my proof of payment was e-mailed to her (I have been a customer for.... I don't know how long & have had a debit order inplace from day one.) She would escalate to admin the credit that was due for the period the service was de-activated while I was away. Anyway....... sorted. I was on the phone to her for approx 25 mins

Today the service is disconnected again. Brent tells me that Refilwe was completely wrong. She gave me the incorrect amount to pay and no credit was due to me. If I wanted reconnection I must pay +- R1,300.00. After much arguing he agreed that he should deduct 380 odd rand I had been over-charged but that no credit was due to me. (?) I was on the phone to him for roughly 30 mins. Eventually I was cut off. Knowing that it was impossible for me to call him back I was under the misguided impression that as customers are important, he would call me back. I really did not want to explain the whole thing again to a new consultant. No such luck. Tried e-mailing Refilwe as I had her address from the proof of payment saga above. No response.

So I dial the customer care number, only to have to jump through all the same hoops again before I could speak to a person. Eventually I tell the sad story to a third person (name unknown) and get cut off before I get much joy out of her. Still waiting for her to call me back......... I was on the phone to her for approx 20 mins.

Dear Multichoice Hello Peter Team,
As you can see I've had no reply from Dinah.
Today you disconnected my services for the 3rd time in just over 2 weeks. Do I feel *********ed to have been cut off while trying to get to the bottom of the problem? You bet.
Anyway... let me pay the amount you say is due and get it over with, although the debit order for the 28 th is still in place as far as I'm concerned.
I log onto your website to set up a new debit order. Lo and behold, as the debit order is still in place I'm unable to do so.
OK I'll pay by credit card. I set up a PAYU a/c on your website but cannot pay as it won't recognise my password.
Please advise
