Does not want to cancel services
I tried t cancel my services as I will be not be using the services for the next few months. But according to them there are set dates and I can only cancel it for the end of the month. So now they sit with your money whether you use the services are not, but God forbid if you don't pay then they can cancel your services with a push of a button. The problem with DSTV is they know that they have monopoly and can treat their customers any way they like because they know you have to make use of their services. I feel like hitting my explorer with a hammer and sending it to them with a letter stating that they can shove it and maybe do a bit of exploring of their own. USELESS!!!

It is with regret that we learn of the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced with your account. Please accept our sincere apologies in this regard.
As you might know, your DStv service is a month to month contract. When paying your subscription, the contract for the month is therefore fixed. Downgrades and suspensions can only happen once a month, on the day your next subscription payment is due.
We tried to contact you on your mobile number provided a few times, however your phone were just ringing, however we wanted to know when we must disconnect your service and until when.
Here are our touchpoints:
Please be advised that if you will not be using the services for the next few months, please let us know when you want us to disconnect your service.
