This afternoon, 27 August, Supersport once again *****ed over Motorsport enthusiast's afternoon, as the Formula One broadcast was cut short of the schedules broadcast times, and the post-race analysis was cut out in order to show ****ing highlights of rugby which was on yesterday. On another note, more than half of the Moto GP race on Supersport 1 was also cut out due to "technical difficulties".
Firstly, I understand South Africa is rugby mad, I am not though and I watch every Formula One race of the season, as I follow it just as well as the rugby enthusiasts of South Africa. Why does our broadcasts need to be cut short in order to show highlights of a rugby match which could only just be shown later in die day as well? It already shows like 20 times per day? And with the Moto GP it's not the first time it happens, it happened during the final laps of last year's Austrian GP as well. And last time with the Azerbaijan GP on 25 June, the F1 podium was cut out and switched to another channel without any notice.
Why does my R900 a month not warrant my enjoyment of motorsport to the same extent as which it warrants the enjoyment of rugby fans, or fans of any other sport of that matter?

SuperSport would like to apologise for the quality of this broadcast, which fell way below the standard we set for ourselves. We ought to have stayed with the post-event wrap and not gone to a repeat of the rugby.
We do endeavour to cover as much of the post-race analysis as possible, although the pressure of live programming elsewhere occasionally comes into consideration.
Our F1 executive producer will keep a rigorous eye on live broadcasts and do the utmost best to ensure a high-quality viewing experience.
We truly appreciate you sharing your concern with us. Please do continue to give us your feedback which is valuable.
Thank you for your invaluable support.
Kind regards
