In concert with so many others, we decided to downgrade our Premium DSTV package for 2 reasons: 1) the sheer expense and 2) the increasing paucity of viewing material we enjoy. So in June, we downgraded to the Compact + mainly because we could still watch cycling (Tour de France et al) and tennis eg Grand Slams, Majors etc. Huh, DSTV have displayed a complete lack of ethics let alone lack of marketing nous. Repackaging their channels, the package we signed up for now has lost both the cycling and tennis. Will this force us to upgrade to the Premium package again? NEVER. It will now be the R29 pm Basic for us + Youtube and Netflix.
