Disgusting Treatment from Multichoice

Never before have I been so insulted as I was yetserday by Multichoice. I was phoned and offered a new contract where I would get a Explora Ultra Decoder fully installed to one point at a fixed price of R994 per month for 2 years. I answered all the questions but then I was told that I do not qualify as they could not check on my credit record. I do not have any credit history to check on. I am a pensioner and do not live off credit. I had the same issue last time. Why can Multichoice not look and see if they have ever had to follow up on my payments which have been paid for on time for over 20 years at least. It's a pity that Multichoice offers such great deals and then simply declines them without investigating first. I was given an email address to query why I had been declined which I wrote to and yes - NO reply. My ID number is *** and my cell number is ***. I eagerly await a call from Multichoice

It's now the 23 and guess what - still no reply. I also wish to add another comment. I was phoned by a person yesterday who said he was acting on behalf of Multichoice from this phone number *** and he offered me a new contract where I would pay R279 plus R899 pm for a new decoder and he wanted to know where he could send the decoder. I did give him my ID number but then he said that I never trusted the source of this call. He had no other details of mine and thank goodness I never gave him any or answered yes to any of his questions. I wonder what Multichoice thinks of this and is it legitimate? I doubt I will get any further reply!!

I had to travel to DSTV in Goodwood from Somerset West to have my problem sorted. I was helped by an extremely knowledgeable lady named Peace. She sorted out both problems within half an hour despite DSTV's call center saying that they had sorted out my problem which they had not. Thank you Peace. What a pity the call center staff are so untrained.
