Disgusting service for price-lock Explora-Ultra installation

I have been a DSTV Multi-choice for a while now, and for the past 2 years have been on the price-lock contract which expired in January this year. This is when my upgrade problems started. I have been trying to get a new price-lock contract on the Explora-Ultra decoder since January. The consultant I spoke to in January told me to call in February (on the 25th), when I called in February, I was told that my request should have been processed in January as my contract had expired when I called then. Apparently my request was escalated to the price-lock & Explora-Ultra division who were supposed to call me. Needless to say, it never happened. I called again in March, by now I am expecting that my inquiry will be escalated- of course it was escalated- TO NOWHERE as nobody called to process my request. I called at the beginning of April, and I was promised once more to be called- eventually somebody called and my application was processed and approved in April. I was promised installation within 2 weeks at most. Of course it was a lie- in between, somebody from Dstv called to sell me an additional service or package. I told the consultant that I will not be adding anything on my package seeing that they cannot even deliver & install the Ultra. Of course he said he was going to escalate. I then called again at the end of April, and my inquiry was escalated again. I then received a call on the 2nd May from Multichoice, and was told that my request was incorrectly loaded and would be manually loaded and I should expect installation between the 3rd and the 7th. I was also told that the installers do not work on weekends. Needless to say, the week came and passed, no installers/installation!. I then called again on the 10th May, and spoke to Rudolph who promised to do everything possible to ensure that I get the installation done- I told him that I have been promised before and nothing happened- and nothing would come out of his promises even though he was confident that he would be sending an email to the director (not sure whether it was for price-lock or explora -ultra or both). He even promised to call and give me the reference number for the request. Three days later, I am still waiting. I just wish Multichoice was not the only service provider for satellite television. I wish we could get more players in the satellite space so that Multichoice can start taking their customers seriously. This is really disappointing. I hope I will eventually get the explora ultra installed and my price-lock active - in this life-time. I am not going to call DSTV again - I am done- they can keep their decoder if they so choose- it's their call!
