Disgusting service

I am absolutely disgusted in the service of multichoice DSTV customer service. I received aan sms saying I hadn't made payment so immediately I made payment via my FNB app. The that day when I got home from work, I found my dstv was disconnected, so I contacted the customer service to request that they reconnect my account, after talking to 2 agents and then a manager I was told that they had received the proof of payment that I had sent them and that they would allocate the payment to accounts.

Then the next day, for the entire day my dstv was still disconnected. After spending over R150 airtime on them the previous day I was scared to call them as I knew it would cost a lot of time and money, never the less I called them as I have 2 children and a wife with me at home and we wanted to do the usual watch TV as a family. I got through to 2 different agents who told me that they cannot find my proof of payment and frustrated I put the phone down, I then called again for the 3rd time and got through to a gentleman who said that he can assist me, I snt through a second proof of payment which he was able to find and he told me that he would allocate the payment to accounts and my DSTV would be activated immediately.

He then came back to me and advised me that the account number that I made the payment to was incorrect. Keep in mind that using my banking app, I don't make any changes to the details that I make payment to, for the past 3 months I have been making payment for DSTV to the exact same details and now all of a sudden the account number is incorrect. I went back to my previous payments and checked the details and they were all the exact same account numbers.

I spoke to an agent by the name of Ryan Govender and then requested to talk to his manager who's name was Sizwe Zungu. This manager proceeded to tell me that the reference number is incorrect as well as the account number. He then advised me that he would escalate the matter and it would take up to 5working days for me to get feedback.

I was also told by this manager that I can use DSTV now which I can't as my account is not active. I requested transcripts of the calls I made and was told by them that they connot give it to me. I believe as my consumer rights I am allowed to request this so that I can take the matter further. The service from this company was disgusting and I expect feedback on this as soon as possible. And I would like my account activated as soon as possible.

Hi.

I have already sent through the proof of address on 2 ocassions. The one I sent yesterday, the subject line is: ***

I have spent too much time and too much money for this matter to be sorted out. I am expecting to be reimbursed on the Now R300 Rands airtime as well as the days that I did not receive any service of which I paid for.
