Disgusting service
The most pathetic service ever! Made a payment on the 3rd and 5 days later my service is disconnected. Spent more than R100 trying to call them and nothing still. Asked for a manager and the agent said she doesn't know her manager's name (with an I don't care attitude). Asked that she investigate and get back to me and was told they don't have an outgoing call line and even the nameless manager has no phone at her station. No business operates without a phone, regardless how small it is. Multichoice needs to stop with this cheap labour and ********, start looking for real people, people with sense and compassion. 1. Their agents mumble when answering the phone. 2. They chew while talking to you. 3. They keep calling people 'man' or 'sir', after they asked for your name. 4. Demand to put you on hold, not asking if you're okay with it or advising you of the reason why you're being put on hold. 5. They don't take responsibility, they keep referring to 'they' (eg 'I don't know why they haven't updated it's). Is it not a unit. The training department can do better than this. Call centre training is imperative for any business. Call centres are the 1st point of contact and as crucial to the business as management (if not better), it's supposed to be the 'voice' of the company. What is the QA department doing? Do they listen to the calls? But then they're all related, no one can repramand the other (might be their mother). This is more shocking than raging. A leading company such as multichoice should give a top of the class service. I await the day when they will get competition, they're too comfortable. At this point in time, and I speak for MOST South Africans, we are subscribed with them because of their monopolistic state, not because of their service. Other businesses change their agents daily because they don't tolerate such. It's big on the outside and empty on the inside. They're fresh paint on rotten wood, useless.
