Disgusting Multichoice

So I get a call from multichoice dstv today informing me that I need to upgrade my decoder or it will be cut off. They want to force us to buy new decoders in order for them to make more money. For only R289.00/ month for 24 months sir we will upgrade you!!! That equals to R 6 720.00. for a decoder that is going to show the same old programmes over and over again as they have been doing for the past 3 -5 years. As a pensioner I cannot/ will not pay this. I will rather cancel my subscription of R 1 200. 00 per month than be ******ed by mulitchoice !!!! We need more options than multichoice open to suggestions please. I think multichoice stinks!!!
