Disgusted with double standards.
I was told on 04/08/2020 by a friend that I can take my dstv walka to multichoice and get a R800 takealot voucher because they don't work anymore.
I phoned multichoice to confirm this. I Spoke to a lady at multichoice at 16:06 by the name of Mbalenhle who confirmed this.
So I told one of my other friends who also phoned in and was told that this was only in 2018 and that people with walka's was contacted to bring them in.
I was never contacted to bring in my walka.
So as the leading service provider in south Africa why do you waste people's time and money with your double standards or do you not train your people correctly.
I've been a dstv customer for many years and is now very disappointed with this service.

Best regards,
We were unable to get hold of you telephonically when we tried to contact you.
Subscribers who had the Walk device were contacted and those who qualified to receive the Takealot voucher of R500 did receive it, the voucher was R500,00 and not R800,00. The Walka service was terminated on the 31st of October 2018 and communication was sent accordingly to the affected subscribers.
Our records also do not indicate you contacted us as you mention you spoke to one of our service consultants. The Take alot Walka vouchers expired in March 2019, and no vouchers were offered thereafter.
Subscribers who were billed for the Walka qualified to receive the voucher, those were not billed for the Walka mobile device did not qualify to receive the voucher as these subscribers received a full 100% discount on their Walka subscription and not charged anything for it.
Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us send us an email at ***.
