DISGUSTED WITH DEBIT FOR TECHNICAL RECONNECTION AND THEN GET DEBT COLLECTORS TO HARASS ME.

My wife and I last had DSTV in 2018 in KZN, we decided to relocate and cancelled the DSTV. We haven't been charged since then until the Covid-19 Lockdown where our account was being debited for DSTV, whereas we do not have a system.

Upon numerous attempts to call the call centre I was just given the run around. The one consultant instead of helping me cancel and sort the issue was trying to assist in downgrading my package (OF WHICH I DO NOT HAVE)

Upon receiving further sms's I called yet again and the consultant said her team leader will call me back or email me a letter confirming a cancellation. Till date nothing.

On one of the occasions the lady tells me it was A TECHNICAL RECONECTION "APPARENTLY WHICH HAPPENS A LOT!!! If its a technical reconnection how did I connect the account?

On the 4th of August we then got a call from BLAKE & ASSOCIATES wanting to do debt collection. As we have put a block on our account to refrain DSTV from debiting us for something we do not have. W e advised the consultant over the phone she said she will follow up.

I then again called the call centre and spoke to a few people after having my called dropped for a few occasions. I spoke to another lady in the cancellation department who then said she can see on the system it was a technical reconnection and supposedly rectified everything. A guy consultant prior to her said I will receive an sms to show me the cancellation yet again till date nothing. I asked the lady can I get an email confirmation or anything to confirm the cancellation she said they don't give out anything apart from reference numbers of which I have and you can check the transcripts. i52 i61

They wrongfully debit my account then get debit collector to collect for which their system reconnected an account of which we do not have.

IF MY GOOD NAME IS TARNISHED FOR WHATEVER REASON BY YOUR NEGLIGENCE I AM GOING TO SUE YOU!
