I trust that my complaint will be taken care of.

My wife received a call from a consultant in Durban selling the Explora 2 at a price of R120 per month for a period of 2 years. the consultant advised me that the R120 includes recording, fast forwarding, catch up and all the features, and I asked him to confirm that I WILL NOT pay any additional costs for this, and he confirmed in the affirmative. I agree and request for the debit of the R120 to go through my account as DSTV is registered on my wifes names.

When I received the explora, I requested an accredited installer to come and install, and when he phone DSTV to connect the explora, the call centre agent confirmed that I need to pay R85 extra every month to enjoy the features of the explora. And I told the consultant that this was not what the Salesperson advised me, and she said that she could not even pick up the call that was made to my wife to sell us the explora.

My question is, why have an explora, pay R120 for it, but cannot enjoy the features of it? I must still pay R85 to enjoy the features.

I request that multichoice collects their explora from me, please dont debit my account with the R120,
