Disgusted by Dstv internet

Disgusted! I had purchased a FLTE Wi-Fi router from multichoice on the 16th of July. It has not functioned ever since it's arrival in July but I pay R279 monthly but the device is not working. I have been calling their service centre EVERY DAY, all I'm told is that my case has been escalated to superiors and no response nor getting back to me. Advisibly, do not purchase multichoice products online.

I still have not gotten any response nor communication and 48 hours has passed by. As per usual, if I do not call the service centre of DStv no one bothers to ger back to me.
Can anyone help me with exposing Multichoice of negligence?!

Hi Nobuhle.

As per our telephonic conversation, please follow these steps:

  1. Insert the SIM card into the router, MTN side facing away from you (you should hear a clicking sound to confirm that the SIM is inserted properly)
  2. Plug the router in to a power source and wait for all lights on the router to turn blue
  3. Connect your mobile device to the router using the password displayed underneath the router (next to WLan key)
  4. If you are unable to connect, remove the SIM card from the router and insert it into your phone for 5 minutes
  5. After 5 minutes, put the SIM back into the router and press the reset button (small hole on top of the router) with a toothpick, earring, or paperclip

Kind regards,
DStv: Hello Peter Team

I HAVE BEEN DOING/FOLLOWING THESE STEPS EVER SINCE THE ARRIVAL OF THE ROUTER. THE LAST PERSON I SPOKE TO, TOLD ME THAT THE SIM CARD NEEDED TO BE RICA'D
