Disgruntled Consumer
My DSTV compact was disconnected in March 2018 due to monthly subscription and I paid an amount of R400 plus after the 24th of March 2018 for reconnection. since I have paid for reconnection, my understanding is, the next monthly subscription is due on the 23rd of April 2018 but not with DSTV. I used pay that way and never had such problem. My DSTV has been disconnected after seven days and they request that I should pay again...

10 Apr 2018, 11:15I have just received a call from Multi-choice(DSTV) trying to hide behind so called payment policy, what a ridiculous service. if a payment was done on the 23rd the my next payment should be due after 30days, monthly subscription I would assume.. now I have told that the payment amounted to R415.00 was insufficient, where on earth was I told about, after I have lodged a complaint o hellopeter???..you need to reconnect me for what I have paid or refund my money back and will cancel the subscription...... Multi-choice is aware that there is no competitor in this market and therefore there risks of taking advantage is always high...

As discussed, the payment date for your DStv account is on the 03rd of every month. Kindly ensure that your DStv service is paid on this date. Furthermore, the monthly subscription for your Compact service is R385.00 when account is fully paid up.
Please remember that the payment we received on 23 March 2018 is not sufficient to keep your DStv service active till 02 May 2018. Please pay R232.57 today for the reconnection of your DStv service.
