Disconnection of my DSTV - Reason unknown

Good day,
I am a Multichoice customer. My due date is on the 15th of every month. I had premium package since decembner. On 16 February 2015 I downgraded it to lite ( R99.00/ month) and the consultant in Queenstown told me to pay R99.00 for that package. I paid R99.00 using credit card on the self service machine. I only watch sports on channel 200 and news channels. I watched them on 24 Feb 2015 afternoon. But when I tried to watch the same on 25 February 2015, there was only a message that the service is disconnected and I should pay +/-R65.00 to get reconncted. When I called DSTV office in PE, the consultant or her supervisor couldn't tell me why the service is disconnected. The only explanation is that the system disconnected the service.
Now the problem is that because of a system fault, I had to pay +/- R50.00 ( was on the phone for 45 minutes ( you can check your sytem, if it is working) and today I was not able to watch any sports or news.
For an ordinary customer like me, what do we do?
If there was anything I should have paid, the consultant should have been able to tell me when I paid the money. So I lost money for phoning DSTV and one days watching time.
Thanks.
