Disconnection

I called Dstv to enquire about why they would activate my account and deactivate it a week later without informing me of any outstanding balance. The girl kept asking me if I do not know my due date, and putting the phone aside. 3 times I found myself talking alone over the fone, and whenever she got back on the phone she would ask me the same question without answering mine. My question was, does it make sense for me to pay on the 25th, my sub fee plus my reconnection fee, then be told again on the 1st that I must pay the outstanding amount plus another reconnection fee, couldn't they not proceed with activating ma account and tell me to pay first before making me pay twice? But no the consultant couldn't clarify anything, she kept asking if I know my due date and that how did I know I'm supposed to pay if they never infomed me, but I got the msgafter the deactivation
