Disappointing DSTV (MultiChoice)

For the past 35 years I have been a Premium DStv subscriber. Every year I look forward to major world events being televised. For the moment I refer to the Grammy's and the Winter Olympics.

Every year, as far back as I can remember, they were always televised on DStv.

Why not this year? What else won't be televised.

Is this a "cost-cutting exercise" by Canal+? If yes, why aren't the subscribers benefitting in this "bonanza?"

We are paying more for less. And it appears that there is no end to "less!"

Will I renew my contract when it expires later this year. I very much doubt it. NETFLIX and YOUTUBE here I come.
