Disappointing

I am posting this complaint after experiencing what is, without exaggeration, the worst customer service I have ever received.

For the past 2–3 days, my MultiChoice Internet/Wi-Fi service has not been connecting at all. What should be a basic technical issue has turned into an ongoing ordeal marked by misrepresentation, empty promises, and zero accountability.

I have spoken to approximately 11–15 different agents via WhatsApp, phone calls, and chat support, including a team leader. Every interaction resulted in a different explanation and a different resolution timeframe “10 minutes”, “2 hours”, “24 hours”. None of these commitments were honoured.

I was repeatedly told that my issue had been escalated and that someone would contact me. Not once has anyone followed up via call or WhatsApp. Every follow-up was initiated by me.

Key failures:

- Agents providing false or inconsistent information - No ownership taken by any individual or team - No callbacks, updates, or communication of any kind - Over two hours of airtime spent calling support at my own expense - An escalation promised within 24 hours that is now well over 36 hours overdue

The WhatsApp support system is also fundamentally broken. The number advertised on the MultiChoice website does not clearly provide access to customer care. Customers are forced to navigate misleading menus or manipulate the system just to reach a human being. who then fails to resolve the issue or provide accurate information.

It is evident that MultiChoice Internet is not a mature or properly supported product. While it may be relatively new, this does not excuse the complete breakdown in service delivery and customer care. Based on this experience, it is not a service I would recommend to anyone.

This complaint is not about a single technical fault. It reflects:

- Systemic customer care failure - Repeated misrepresentation - Lack of transparency - Complete disregard for the customer’s time and money

This experience has been consistently bad from start to finish, with no resolution and no accountability.
