Disappointing!

I do not know where to begin. Ever since we upgraded to the DSTV explora our problems started. We now exchanged two explora decoders and spent thousands of rands in the updrade, installation, paying other installers to come and rectify problems that the DSTV agents cannot assist with telephonically (things like how to activate a remote and ensure that the home network settings are correct), driving up and down to go to DSTV centres to exchange decoders, various telephone calls that lasted 30min plus, and yet we STILL do not have a decoder that has a functioning Box office option and we are unable to rent movies successfully. Apart from the signal interrupting, secondary decoder not being linked on DSTV's side, decoders not recording, tv guide not available, we were instructed to obtain a new decoder twice, and we are still having problems with regards to renting movies on Box Office. Today we reported this again to Multichoice, and the agent indicated that the problem will be escalated and then cut the phone call before any reference was given. Out of experience, we know that nothing will be escalated and we will once again have to phone in three days time to repeat all the problems we are currently experiencing to yet another employee that just do not give a damn. After we exchanged our decoder on Saturday morning (third explora), we were provided with a new remote. When we got home the remote did not work. We phoned DSTV and explained that it was a new remote that was not working and the agent who handled the call could not assist at all. We were only told that we need to go back to the DSTV Centre for them to assist. When we got there it was as simple as pressing two buttons three times in a row to activate the remote?? Surely this should be something that the DSTV agent could have assisted with over the phone? This is frustrating to say the very least and to be honest we have never received such bad service anywhere else. We truly hope that someone will take the time to read this complaint and indicate how we are supposed to fix yet another problem on our decoder??
