Desperate Multichoice getting worse and totallly *********.
Now I know that Multichoice has hit rough times but this desperation is now unacceptable, ********* and immoral. From the genesis of this DSTV contract I have paid my account by EFT, on time. That is around 25th of each month and in advance for the next month (due date first of each month). January 2025 the religion continued and I paid on the 29th this time. On the 1st of February 2025. I get a shock debit order to my bank account from Multichoice. Surprised at this I reversed it almost immediately (remember I just paid them). Then on 2025 February 27th I follow religion and pay. Today I get another shock. This time I am disconnected due to an outstanding balance. After a decent back and forth on their live chat with Tumi this morning. We established that my February payment was not allocated to my DSTV account as it usually would be. Now I have to pay reconnection fees and what looks like a higher premium than my package. It then hit me. A few days before the illicit debit. One of their sales companies called me and somehow my identifier did not pick up that it was their usual spam. The call was less than 30 seconds when I refused their upgrade sale. So, do you know what they do nowadays when you say no? They activate a new customer number, with an unsolicited debit order function (explains the sudden debit, the reason the allocation of funds failed and why Tumi insisted that I always had debit order as a payment method). They then cancel the original contract/customer number and bob is your inconvenience. Dear MultiChoice. Bad service and inconvenience I will not take. Reconnection fee because you cannot allocate payment I will not pay. You actually should pay me an inconvenience fee. Just reconnect my service with no hassles. You have been ********* enough now. Sies.
