Deliberate damaging of decoder

Sms and emails sent out to say that older decoders were no longer supported but if they are traded in for an Explora the bargain cost will only be R1500. This is no bargain because that is the normal price in shops anyway. With my older decoders working just fine my life carried on as normal for 2 weeks. Suddenly DSTV decide to send a firmware update (or better known as a virus) during the night to my decoder and no surprise to anyone I now have the well documented error code \be1". This is just good timing for Multichoice because not many people actually took up the offer previously mentioned. What better way to ensure a constant income than to constantly ***** up decoders with faulty firmware. Enough is enough. I may only be one more customer in this sea but unfortunately no one at Multichoice would bat an eyelid because the culture is to *** en betaal in RSA. The call centre and local Multichoice agent have a totally no care attitude so nothing left to do. <br> Stick your decoders and ****py service."""
