deducted money from my account without my consent

is it legal for Multichoice to deduct over R700 rand for outstanding premium of 2013? I was not notified via sms that I had an outstanding debt nor was I informed that money would be debited from my banking account. on phoning the call centre I was told its quite legit as I had a debit order back then. <br> I feel mulichoice do as they please and need someone to intervene. I am a single mom hence I had the dstv disconnected and that money was for my child's stationary for school. <br> Christina Williams <br>
