Deducted annual payment from credit card and will take 90 days to refund.

On the 2nd October 2017 I received a SMS notification that my annual subscription was deducted from my creditcard. I never paid my account with a debit order - always eft. Last month I noticed a small amount in arrears - paid it with Snapscan. Phoned the call centre immediately when I received notice via SMS that amount was deducted. Call centre guy explained that only way I can get money back was to go to bank. I insist to speak to a supervisor - Tshepo was very helpful and explained that if I want money immediately back I can go to the bank the next day.The other option he will change the annual subscription to monthly - also explained that Oct payment will be deducted than difference will be refunded within seven days. On 4th October I was telephonically informed that I was changed to monthly but refund will be paid back only in 90 days and in meanwhile I have to pay my monthly subscription. This do not make sense and I never instructed DSTV to deduct money from my credit card. Can someone please help me this is ridiculous why do I need to wait 90 days if DSTV can deduct it without my authorization.

On Friday 06 October 2017 DSTV paid the amount into my cheque account - thanks Lebogang for understanding. The question still remain why could we not solve this problem from day one Either to much red tape or not enough capable employees ? -to the frustration of the customer.
