We have a DELTA 9000 (old Mnet) decoder, Lately we seem to have to reboot the decoder regularly as it gives a flickering '0". This happens randomly. Can be once every day or two. No bad weather, no pattern. I decided to call in to DSTV to ask their advice. "It's either the decoder or because the system is changing from analog to digital. Bring it in and we will test it and if we don't find a fault it's the change-over. A consultant will contact you about the change." When I visited Multichoice in Lynnwood Pretoria I found that there were a few decoders with the same problem being tested. "it is not the decoder, the problem lies with the towers". For three weeks? Does anybody know what is going on? In the meantime,
we have come to realize that life is quite ok without Multichoice and decided to cancel our contract if we do not get joy anytime soon.
