Decoder de activation.
I called on the evening of the 3rd Sept to activate my Explorer, the installer wanted to check the problem with my other decoder. He came in on 4th Sept, and fixed the PVR, and explained that I do not need the Explorer. I then called Multichoice to deactivate and was told that they cannot deactivate until the next payment on 25th September. What will I be paying for because I have not used and will not be using the Explorer, and was told about the terms and conditions. This is just a *******, and pathetic. Why pay for services I don't need. You can activate anytime, there is no problem, but you can't deactivate....that is absurd. I'm not surprised people are opting for NETFLIX, MULTICHOICE IS A *******, NO VALUE FOR MONEY AT ALL

Thank you for taking my call.
As discussed, I have disconnected your Explora and Extra-view HD PVR. The charge of R58.00 is due for the two days these decoders were active.
Your monthly fee for DStv Compact Plus of R509.00 will be added with the R58.00 and therefore the amount of R567.00 is due by 25 September 2018.
Please email *** to cancel the Showmax subscription which costs R49.00 per month currently.
