Debiting me and then telling me to get a bank statement because they don't believe me
So I live with my father and I am moving out of the house and decided to do a Change of ownership and transfer the DSTV into my fathers name. I submitted all my documentation and sent it through and was advised that the account has been changed. I wake up this morning and check my banking app and see that DSTV have debited me even though the account is not in my name anymore. I give the call centre a ring and was advised that it got put through after debit order date which I understand and I must send an email. I sent through an email to request a refund and was told that I need to get a bank statement showing the Multichoice debit. I work an 8-5 job and get half an hour lunch, I do not have time to get a bank statement. I sent through a screenshot of my banking app showing the deduction but we all know Multichoice won't accept that. This debit has not taken the last bit of my money and has sent my account in an overdraft and I am paralysed until this get's sorted. I am so sick of Multichoice and I have had nothing but non stop headaches. For as long as Multichoice are up and running, I will advise as many people as possible to stay away from them, rather go netflix or to the bar to watch the sport but they do not care about you as a client and will rather let you sit there and suffer and stress than assist you.
