Debit orders are on time, but you wait more than Week for the Price Lock Department to call you back???? Really!!!!!

Good day,

So it only takes an SMS to be converted to the DSTV-Price lock option right? Yes, it’s as easy as that, well Try getting after service from the same department. I have been battling for over a week to get someone from the Price lock department to give me a call. I have spoken to date to 4 people who have escalated my request to this department and I am seriously disgusted with the level of service, or shall I say lack of service I have been receiving from DSTV. How is it that you have people calling clients to sign them Up, but there is no one to take the after sales/service calls?

I would really like to urge people not to take this option (PRICE LOCK) from DSTV, because one can’t wait for a week for someone to call you back. I would really like to cancel my services with DSTV as a whole and no one can assist me expect this Bladdy department. In the meantime their debit orders run smoothly on my account while you wait to be attended to, well I have returned the debit order and this morning I get an SMS to make a payment urgently, not even a phone call, it really is sad.

All I want is to cancel my subscription and relationship with DSTV, how difficult can it be?

Warmest Regards

Dean Tyers

Good day,
I am still having Issues with the Price Lock team, looks like phoning clients back is just not an Option for DSTV.
So the Price log Team sent me a settlement/cancellation letter – Which I paid on the 18th of July, on the same day I forward the Proof of payment as requested, bear in mind that the amount had to be paid before the 26th of July to settle the account in full. 18 July 2017 11:17 AM - Deborah Thole, confirms receipt and payment and promised to settle the account. 25 July 2017 8:45 AM, I sent Deborah an email to follow up, as I had received no feedback from DSTV.
On the 26th of July DSTV deducts another R285 for I don’t know what for. I called in and as per normal, “No Sir, you are not able to speak to the Price Lock Department, your request will be escalated and someone will call you back” - 26 July 2017 3:31 PM, I sent an email to Deborah as a follow up.
On the 27th I called again, same Story “No Sir, you are not able to speak to the Price Lock Department, your request will be escalated and someone will call you back”
28th of July I called again “No Sir, you are not able to speak to the Price Lock Department, your request will be escalated and someone will call you back”
31st of July I call again same story “No Sir, you are not able to speak to the Price Lock Department, your request will be escalated and someone will call you back”
Finally on the 1st of August, I get through to Mlungisi Ngwane, he took ownership and I don’t know what he did but the same afternoon I get a call from Samukelo Ntuli, Mr Ntuli promised so send me a detailed report of my accounts as per our telephonic conversation.
2nd of August I call as a follow up to speak to Mlungisi Ngwane “No Sir, you are not able to speak to the Price Lock Department, your request will be escalated and someone will call you back”
3rd and the 4th of August I leave DSTV alone. This morning (7th August) I call again “No Sir, you are not able to speak to the Price Lock Department, your request will be escalated and someone will call you back” 07 August 2017 9:17 AM, I sent an email again to Deborah as a follow up for her Supervisor to call me, no response. I call in to get the again and yet another request will be sent for escalation. Mon 2017/08/07 09:41 I send Samukelo Ntuli and email to call me back, Nothing!
Honestly speaking, I don’t know what else I need to do for someone from this department to call me back, If this was in my Company, I would have received a final written warning or immediate dismissal, we don’t take clients for granted like this, not even 1.
Let’s see If I get a response after complaining on Hello Peter once again.
As a matter of fact I do not wish to be contacted by one of these individuals, I want the CEO to contact me personally to resolve this matter.
