Debit order paid and subscription cut off

I pay my account by debit order and it show in my account that was paid. I received the message from the bank that the payment has gone through. I woke up on Saturday my subscription is disconnected. Dstv is telling me to pay reconnection fee. Why must I pay reconnection when the debit was gone through? I thought debit order was a hustle free service and i can not pay reconnection fee for people not doing they job correctly.
