I have been ****** by Multichoice Dstv and I am now comfortable to watch my free channels. I didn't pay May 2015 cause I knew I was not gonna be at my place. I should I pay for something I am not using/watching. I rather pay my tv lic and have my tv I will hire movies or go to cinema. I am told I have to pay 258 to reconnect my dstv on the 28th of May and again pay R319 June 2015 that will never happen. The lady (Nomthandazo) who was helping me had nerve to give me attitude instead of explaining.

We do apologies for the inconvenience you experienced in this regard.
DStv service is a month-to-month contract - when you pay your subscription, the contract for that month is fixed.
We confirm that your service was disconnected due to non-payment on the 12 May 2015.
It is the responsibility of the subscriber to inform MultiChoice that they will not be using the service for the upcoming month. Should this not be done the customer will be liable for the amount accumulated on the account.
We've now implemented a tool to schedule your upgrades, downgrades or suspension of services .You may phone us or use self-service at any time to request the change, which we will implement on your next payment date.
According to our records your invoice date (pay date) is on the 7 of every month.
Thank you for taking the time to point out our service failings. As we continually strive to improve our service, feedback such as yours is extremely valuable.
Your support, and that of all our customers, is important to us.
