****************

A DStv decoder had just gave us problem. I took it to a Video Tronics in Makhanda formerly known as Grahamstown to check what was the problem, I was told that to exchange it will cost me R299. As I was served, I was told that the decoder is insured. The guy who was serving me made a call and when he was done,he told me that I should wait for three months before insurance cover or pay that amount. Apparently the insurance started being paid last month, but I failed to understand as to why to wait considering that these appliances can breakdown at anytime with lots of loadshedding that SA experienced and to experience in the future. If we wait for 3 months, what will we be watching at the moment and how will they know which amount is for DStv and which is for insurance. In fact how will we pay for a DStv service (premium) that is linked to a decoder that not working? This is an indirect **************** from MultiChoice, we must keep paying without watching.

H,

Yesterday i wrote a complaint about the decoder insurance. Your reply was to provide me with feedback ASAP. I am still waiting and thought you would have responded by now.

You must also bear in mind that while you don't care and japplyling a train approach, we are suffering more with nothing to watch. Your biggest problem is that you don't have a competition. Your service sucks.
