daily loss of signal

I use the old silver PVR I which has dual view functions on it own... allows for separate channels to be viewed using different TVs.. Multiple have been trying to get me to replace this with an explorer plus another extra view decoder at my cost citing that it does not have contracts with initial supplier... I refused. now they seem to be remotely rebooting my device several times in the evening and weekends. the timing is consistent even in clear weather... something is fishy here.... please assist
