Customer No Service from finance department

I signed up for the DSTV price lock in December 2015 and as per their terms you can only pay via debit order, which was fine. I arranged for my debit order to run on the 25th. 2 weeks ago all of a sudden my subscription was cut off. naturally I called them to find out what the problem was, the lady informed me that I have been reversing my debit orders for the past 9 months and I was in arrears for R3800. it goes without saying that this was the biggest shock of my life because I had never reversed any debit order for the past 5 years or so.
She said she cant do anything to help me but she will get the finance team to call me to sort this whole mess out, a week passed and I received no phone call, email or even as SMS, that's no surprise considering they could not let me know that my debit order was not being honored. I submitted a complaint on hello peter and some guy called me as well and he also promised to get the finance department to contact me, yet its been a week and no contact what so ever. I am starting to believe that they enjoy messing up peoples lives. is it so hard to call your client? or are you just messing everything up that you have a backlog so big that it takes more that 2 weeks to contact 1 client. if there was an alternative no one would be a DSTV customer.
