Converting to Price Lock seems to be not as seemles as advertised

I saw the Price Lock advert on TV and decided to make use of their offer. On the 31st of January 2017 I got a call from that department, but was informed that I do not meet the minimum criteria. On the 30th of March 2017, I got another call from Multichoice and was informed that it was an administrative error on their side. I did the deal and it was approved telephonically. A debit order was set up and all the terms and conditions etc was explained to me. Annelize, who did the deal with me gave me the details of installers in my area and said that she recommends that I phone them the same day to make an appointment for installation, as the installers can get quite busy. To this day, I am still without the decoder. I have made numerous calls to the Multichoice contact centre to ask the status of my delivery, only to find out that nothing was loaded. I spoke to the team leader Boikumelo, who promised to phone me back with feedback. He also assured me that the deal has been approved and that I will get my decoder. I had to take a day off work, which is very hard to get, to be here for delivery and installation. This was one day that was wasted. I have made calls nealy every second day, only to hear that all they can do is to escalate the matter. It feels like I am in a hot air balloon already from all the escalation.

To my astonishment, I have had 3 calls afterwards from other sales consultants to say that they see that I was interested in the Price Lock deal and if they can start an application for me. This was shocking.

I have spoken to the following people:

Annelize - who has done the deal for me

Simpiwe - He was very rude and agitated with me

Mandla - His supervisor, that also promised to escalate the matter

Gleisha - That also promised to escalate the matter

Christel Odendal - She tried to do a new deal for me. She also promised to escalate the matter

Melandre - That also promised to escalate the matter

Boikumelo - Teamleader for the Price Lock department that also promised to escalate the matter.

I got a sms on 13 April 2017 at 09:43 am reading: DSTV: Congratulations! Your decoder payment plan application has been approved. Your order 456271 will be dispatched in the next 2-4 days.

I phoned Multichoice again today and spoke to Zanele. She said that she cannot see a dispatch being loaded and will escalate the matter to their finance department. She marked it as an urgent escalation and assured me that I will receive a call from their finance department within an hour. She also promised to phone me within 2 hours to make sure that I had been contacted. It is now four hours later and no one has called me back.

I will make it my mission to discourage people to go for the Price Lock option. I am in the client services industry as well and would have lost my job by now if I provided such bad service to my clients. I feel that the adverti*****ts for the Price Lock deal is misleading as they say that it is a seamless transition. This experience has been anything but seamless.
