Constant repeats of series and movies on DStV

I would like to know why DSTV is repeating programs this much. I read an article before writing this review which dated in 2016, where DSTV claimed to be improving this immense problem. It seems to me that they offered new channels for this problem. However, creating new channels just to repeat programs that were on other channels is just insulting to frank.

For instance, almost all shows that is on The Travel channel now was all on The History channel two or three or more years ago. The programs on Universal Channel keeps repeating over and over for example Bones has been running on that channel for at least one year, same with Law & Order. It seem like these series, which are by the way very old series, is shown, (sometimes the episodes arent even in chronological order when it was restarted) they give it a months and then repeat as if hoping people will forget that this series was been repeated on this channel for the 3rd or more time. Same with BBC the channel is only active for half a day or so and yet the repeats are staggering!! I can add quite many more examples to these, but do not want write a thesis on something that will probably never change.

This is unacceptable, and the repeats are getting worse. Having one or two channels that constantly have new programs does excuse them to put constant repeats on other channels. The lockdown causing everyone to stay at home has just affirmed how ridiculous the repeats of programs has become

Obviously this ia a complaint that has been repeated as the programming on DSTV yet nothing, I REPEAT nothing is beine about. Unfortunately DSTV has the monopoly of TV services in this country, thus we just have to grin and bear and pay, more and more, as increases are surely expected and will happen. Not every one can afford internet good enough to be able to boycott DSTV and end their subscriptions. Some do not want to as there are few channels that they do enjoy. Adding more channels to hide repeats is just dispicable and unacceptable. However, as said before he who has the monopoly can surely do what he wants and will not give heed to any complaints that will not impact his wallet.

I have never in my life complained or written a review on a specific service or place a public forum, except for one restaurant review ( which was deleted after the fact so that one could ever see it, l will hope and see if this review will last the ages). This is just too upsetting for me to bite my tongue.If there was another television service in this country I would switch in the blink of an eye.

Absolutely outraged, disgusted but unfortunately trapped.
