Charging for a full month, despite 41 days notice!

I wish to terminate my DSTV due to transfer to Cape Town.
DSTV will only accept that I phone them the day before I need termination, and will not accept any form of written, email or faxed notification prior to this date. I am wanting to get this off my job list, and have provided them 41 days notice to terminate on 29th June 2015.

Secondly, not only can they not provide an email address, fax number, they cannot schedule this disconnection, relying only on me remembering to phone them amongst the scurry of the movers packing up the house.

They also advise that despite giving 41 days notice, that they will be charging till the end of the month that I require disconnection in. Where is the fairness there, they have got 41 days notice, but must charge till the end of the month of the date we required termination in.

This is a case of the monopoly, because you don't pay to kennel your dog for a whole month when you only need it for a part month! Service is service, not monopoly!

Very dissatisfied!
