Charged R495.87 penalty for a R549.00 monthly subscription fee account, ridiculous

Multichoice charged my mom R495.87 penalty fee for a R549.00 monthly subscription fee account. This is ridiculous ,even the banks are not charging this much. Multichoice takes the cup when it comes to making their customers unhappy. So tired of this madness, I have never experienced a great service from them.
