Charged for services without permission

I recently tried out the trial version of showmax available to dstv subscribers but after the trial period expired I was automatically placed on a billing system which multichoice was very happy to debit me for yet cannot explain was I was not given a choice to continue with the showmax subscription or to cancel after the trial period had expired.

The call center agent sounded like she needed to go back to sleep from which I had disturbed her and was no help in resolving my issue. Still ranks up there with the worst call center experiences!
