Charged for a service I cancelled

I am receiving calls from Blake and Associates for a DSTV account I called Multichoice myself to stop the service in 2018 I was told that I need to send written notification to cancel the whole service!The account was being billed for insurance and now im expected to pay.I am taking this to the NCR!This is against treating customers fairly!
