Channels disappearing one by one
<p>I was on the Family package and moved to the Compact package because my family enjoys the History channel. Last night History channel has disappeared! And this is not the first time it happend, on the Family package we also had one channel disappearing. This is VERY poor service, why do we need to pay an arm and a leg just to have our entertainment changing and disappearing constantly? Sick and tired, cancelling immediatley!</p>

The history channel 186 was only activated on the DStv Compact Package for a limited period from the 13 June to 11 July 2016 to provide Compact customers access to the highly acclaimed series ROOTS.
The time period has now come to an end the channel is now removed and is only available to DStv Premium and DStv Extra subscribers on Channel 186.
