change of ownership - drifta

<p>I recently bought a drifta from someone on gumtree. I was of the opinion that I could just have it connected at a monthly premium as this is what the person whom I bought it from told me. However when I contacted Mutichoice I was told that I need to have a change of ownership form completed. They gave the name of the owner but no other details. This owner was not the person I bought the drifta from. Surely it should not be a problem for multichoice to contact the registered owner and facilitate the process. I'm now sitting with a drifta that I could have used and paid a subscription for and using it as a paper wight </p>
