Catch Up
<p>I have a HD PVR decoder. And all of a sudden, my Catch up choices are almost non existant!! I used to watch The Blacklist aswell as The Mentalist on Catch up, but now both if them have new seasons, but its not shared on Catch Up. Our menu of what we can view is basically 1 page with 1 or 2 things on the second page. My inlaws have the new Explora and their Catch Up is MUCH MUCH bigger than ours! Is everything taken away from our normal Catch Up to add to the Explora?? Are we now being forced to buy the new Explora so we can watch what we used to? That is insane!! We are also paying clients of the full bouquet, NOT ONLY THE EXPLORA CLIENTS!! </p> <p>I want some answers regarding this! It is absolutely ridiculous to "force" us now to buy a new decoder to watch a larger Catch Up!!</p>

We understand your frustration however the major challenge with HD PVR is space compared to the Explora.
Please see below comparison between your decoder and the Explora :
DStv 2 tuner HD PVR
· 50 hours of HD recordings, 150 hours of SD recordings
· View 1, Record 1
· 20 series recordings
· 15 BoxOffice titles
· Series and sports highlights on DStv Catch Up
· BoxOffice and DStv Catch Up titles only download when you don’t have any other recordings taking place
· Basic title and theme search
· Pause Live TV for up to 2 hours ****il you change channels)
DStv Explora
· Up to 220 hours of personal recordings
· 40 series recordings
· 20 BoxOffice titles
· Series, sports highlights, movies, kids’ shows and documentaries on DStv Catch Up
· Dedicated downloading of BoxOffice and DStv Catch Up titles (these are not interrupted by your recordings)
· Multiple searches – including ability to find out when any programme is on again in the next 8 days
· Pause Live TV for up to 2 hours (even when you change channels)
With that being said, we are having issues with missing sports and entertainment CatchUp titles on some HDPVR decoders. We have escalated this issue to our technicians and they are working hard to resolved it with the highest priority.
