Cancellation - Impossible

I have been trying to cancel my account since October 2021. Always when I call I'm told to try doing it online- Impossible. Called the *** number was rerouted to their cancellations department numerous times , had to hold from 28 to 1hr. this is ridiculous. we are being held at ransom for a service when we don't want it anymore.
