Cancelation of a contract

I had a price lock contract with multichoice and with the wrong information I received from a call centre agent I had to cancel the contract and I was advised by another call centre agent that I had not been in the contract for long which means I am still able to terminate the contract and I did so as advised but only to find out on my surprise that the contract had not been canceled and I went in to their offices as I was told that an email was sent to price lock and that I was also cc'd in the email but no email and no response till today I was in the store on the 29th of October 2021 how can I resolve this issue or should I just consult my lawyers?
