Cancel subscription/ debit order

I’ve been trying to cancel my late husbands DSTV subscription, I am the payer of the account but it is such a hassle with the company, they’re requesting that I do a change of ownership first before cancelling the debit order, my late husband and I were married in community of property hence this makes no sense especially since he is deceased, I’ve been on numerous calls with their agents and each time I get the run around about the information they require of me to process the cancellation, as you can imagine this is frustrating, I was requested to get an affidavit which I have and now another agent advised that there are other things I needed to include in the affidavit which I was not previously advised on, the decoder is damaged due to lightning, I would love to continue making use of the service but am not in a position to buy a new decoder, I just need DSTV to cancel my subscription please, I am the payer and it makes no sense to pay for a service I don’t have access to, please
